She's quite the role model
Christina Sirisena got on Instagram because it was fun and everyone was doing it! But over time, people grew interested in her healthy lifestyle and style. Plus, the adorable photos of Sansa, her daughter, are always a hit!
Many women DM her asking questions about Christina’s fitness regime and being vegan. “I’ve been a vegan for four years, now, and if people want to know what I eat daily and where they can get vegan food, I’m happy to respond.”
Christina never ate a lot of meat—it was mostly chicken, prawns, crab and dairy. Then, she decided to challenge herself and three weeks into it, she felt a big difference. From there, she watched popular documentaries on the subject and never looked back. “It was never tough for me. Before I became a vegan, I used to eat a lot of yoghurt. Fortunately, when I started the challenge I was in England where they have everything from vegan yoghurt to cheese to butter!” explained Christina.
Being on social media is a tough call, but Christina recommends that you be yourself and not what you’re paid to promote. “It’s all about being you, supporting one another and inspiring young girls be it in business, style or health and fitness.” Christina only posts content she loves and is comfortable doing. Being able to inspire young women makes her better. It motivates her to push herself further and do more good.
