‘Cause every island babe deserves awesome brows.
We live in an age of serious brow envy! Having brows on fleek is not an option, it’s vital. Having said that, sometimes filling in and defining your brows can be a little out of your skill sets. But fear not, Cosmo’s here to show you how to get thick, defined brows in just FOUR steps. Yup, you read it right, just four steps that’ll probably only require 2 minutes of your busy day. However, before creating this masterpiece, always remember that a clean canvas is very important. And, by that we mean, shaped and threaded brows!
STEP ONE: BRUSH UP
I don’t know about you, but my brow hairs always droop down like they’ve been hit by a full-on shower. To reveal those painfully threaded arches, brushing them into shape is key. Use a spooly brush that usually comes with brow products (or just repurpose an old mascara wand after the product hits the 6-month mark!) and brush up.
STEP TWO: FILL IN
Now that you’ve got your shape in order, all that’s left to do is to fill in the gaps and bald spots (hey, we all have at least one of those pesky areas.) Going OTT is usually manageable with other make-up tricks, but with brows, keeping them just right is a must. So use small light handed hair-like strokes. You can use a brow pencil or gel for a sleek and Zendaya-esq (let’s face it guys, she’s serious brow-inspo!) brows.
STEP THREE: BLEND & BLEND
Be it foundation, eyeshadow or contouring, blending is the key to acing it all. Stay true to this age-old technique and blend your brow product in using your spooly brush. No one likes, crazy in-your-face brows, so make sure to brush the product into your arches to soften any obvious strokes.
STEP FOUR: OUTLINE THE BROW WITH A CONCEALER
Lastly, to achieve that HD brow look, use your fave concealer and run it along the bottom brow-line. This cleans up any stray strokes, help hide those tiny hairs that might be poking through and helps put the wow-factor into your brow game. Once again, don’t forget to blend the concealer out to perfection before snapping a picture for the gram!
Now go out and live your best brow dreams! #browgamestrong
