You’ll wonder why you never used them before.
We love our denim. If we had the choice, we’d quite possibly live in them. Often, we’re faced with a variety of issues ranging from how to properly care for our beloved pair to battling wardrobe malfunctions. Keep reading for three of our top tips to prolong the life of your pants.
Fixing Waist Gaps
Occasionally, curvy girls will find jeans that perfectly fit the bum, sometimes leave a space in the waist area. To adjust this, you need an elastic strip of about 6 inches long. Sew it into the back of the waistband of your pants, using a matching thread. Go for a zig-zag stitch that will gather the denim and tighten it. Problem solved!
Washing It Right
We’ve all seen our much-loved pair of jeans often shrink in size after a wash. To prevent this, turn them inside out, before you put them in the washing machine. Be sure to zip it up and fasten the button, too. Then, rinse them in cold water and allow to air dry. No more worries!
Refreshing The Denim
Jeans shouldn’t be washed often. So to keep your pair looking and feeling fresh, fold them and place in a large Ziplock bag. Pop them in the freezer for a few days. Voilà! No more weird smells.
