Cooking a meal on the regular gets harder each day, especially with hectic lifestyles. There never seems to be time to prepare dinner when you get home after work, and all you want to do is pass out in bed. Other times, you’d much rather order in, pop open a bottle of wine, curl up in front of the TV and watch old Friends episodes. Not to worry, we’ve got the perfect set of recipes, that’ll save you from spending precious bucks and time, and also decrease your calorie intake! Since you make these dishes in a mug, they fit right into your hands, ideal for that binge watching sesh. And, what’s more, they can be whipped up in no more than 10 minutes.
BREAKFAST: Peanut Butter And Oatmeal Cake
6 Tb. Milk
2 Tb. Vegetable Oil
2 Tb. Sugar
6 Tb. All-Purpose Flour
3 Tb. Rolled Oats
½ Tp. Baking Powder
¼ Tp. Salt
2 Tb. Peanut Butter
Whisk vegetable oil, milk and sugar in a large mug.
Add in flour and mix till smooth.
Whisk in oats, baking powder and salt.
Add the dollops of peanut butter and make sure it sinks into the batter.
Microwave on high-heat for 30 seconds, then run it in bursts of 15 seconds until the top of the cake looks cooked, and you’re done!
LUNCH: Mug Quiche
1 ½ Tb. Milk
1 Slice of Bread
2 Tp. Cream Cheese
Ham (of choice)
Beat the egg, milk, salt and pepper in a mug.
Add in bite-sized pieces of bread.
Mix in the rest of the components and microwave for about one and half minutes.
DINNER: Macaroni And Cheese In A Mug
⅓ C. Pasta (of choice)
¾ C. Water
4 Tb. Milk
¼ Tp. Corn Flour
4 Tb. Grated Cheddar Cheese
Salt and Pepper
Add macaroni and water into a large cup and microwave till boiled.
Strain the remaining water and mix in the rest of the ingredients and heat for another minute or until everything’s molten and gooey.
Now Netflix in peace. You can thank us later!
