It’s as easy as ABC.
We all have skin troubles unique to each of our skin types. Among all these common skin disorders, blackheads are a very prominent and irritating condition that happens to the best of us. Now comes the question, what are blackheads? Yes, it’s that dark spot-like-thing that usually appear on our noses, but what are they, really?
Let’s break it down for you. Blackheads are a form of acne which results when the pores of our skin gets blocked by excess sebum (oily substance which keeps skin flexible and hydrated). When this gets exposed to air, its gets oxidized and thereby darkens.
Save yourself the bucks and a trip to the salon by using these easy-peasy hacks right at home to get rid of the pesky pore-blockers.
Whip up a mixture of baking soda and apple cider vinegar and exfoliate weekly. Not only does this concoction get rid of the blackheads, but will also save you the time spent worrying.
This practice will not only treat blackheads but will also aid in preventing them. The steam will open up the pores and sweat out any dirt and bacteria. Adding a few essential oils like lavender or chamomile will make this 10-minute remedy feel like a relaxing day at the spa.
3. Peel Off Mask
Try a DIY mask by mixing a Tb. of gelatin with 2 Tp. of milk, microwave it for fifteen seconds and apply right away. Peel off after the mask hardens. Even a mixture of egg whites and lime juice works miracles.
Say haiii to the clearest skin you’ll ever have!
