1. PEANUT BUTTER BANANA SMOOTHIE
Do you love peanut butter so much that you could eat it right out of the jar? We’ve got you covered! This recipe is one of our favourites! It’s super easy to make, and filled with protein-rich ingredients that will give you energy to dive into your day. PB has tons of good fats your body needs, and the banana packs this smoothie with potassium – so drink up!
2 ripe bananas
¼ cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons honey
½ cup ice
½ cup milk
Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.
2. MINT, LIME AND GINGER TROPICAL SMOOTHIE
This smoothie has a bit more than just mint and lime. It’s kind of like a mojito smoothie but with a little more body. You’ll be drinking this refreshing beverage all day long. Plus, one of the main ingredients is coconut water, which carries as much potassium as a banana. Don’t let the bright green colour scare you – it tastes fruity and delicious.
½ cup pure coconut water
1 orange, peeled
5 mint leaves
1 cup spinach
½ lime, peeled
1 tsp fresh ginger
Combine all the ingredients and blend on high for a minute or until the mixture is liquid and has a smooth consistency. Serve and enjoy!
3. TROPICAL BLISS SMOOTHIE
As delicious as this smoothie tastes, it’s super simple: literally just fruit, juice and water!
1 cup pineapple
1 cup mango
1 banana sliced
1 cup orange juice
½ cup water
Place the fruit in the blender along with the water and OJ. Cover, and blend until smooth.
Pick a few and rotate or try them all for a quick, yummy, stress-free brekkie.
