She says the whole thing made her "uncomfortable"
With all the glorious drama of the Blac Chyna/Rob Kardashian/Kylie Jenner/Tyga situation currently going down, there’s been one member of the family whose opinion we’ve been especially interested in: Kim Kardashian.
Because, if you forgot, Kim and Blac Chyna used to be BFFs. They took post-workout selfies together. They made fun of Kris Jenner. They hung out all the time. Blac Chyna was – dare we say it – almost part of the family.
But then something happened. Tyga broke things off his Blac Chyna, the mother of his child. He got involved with Kylie Jenner. Blac Chyna was obviously not bloody well pleased, while everyone else kept offering up their public blessings for the sweet new couple.
Kimmy K stayed silent, but it very much appeared that her friendship with Blac Chyna was over.
And now, in the biggest plot twist of the Kardashian story yet, Blac Chyna is having Rob Kardashian’s baby. She’s literally part of the family.
So it’s time for Kim to speak. Which she’s done, in the latest episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. In a clip, Kim reveals that she’s so awkward with Blac Chyna that she literally had to hang up the phone in a rush when Rob passed it to Blac Chyna.
No wonder, really, considering that – as Kim goes on to explain – she basically had to pick sides when Tyga and Kylie started dating. And as Kylie is her half-sister, she was stuck with choosing hers.
Was it uncomfortable for me when Kylie and Tyga started to date? Absolutely, because Chyna was my friend. I had no choice but to take my sister’s side. That’s my sister.”
The clip ends with Kim saying she thinks the family and Chyna need to sit down ASAP, which we assume happened and was the cause for the Kylie/Chyna ‘we’re friends now!’ selfie. Hopefully now that Kylie and Tyga have split the awkwardness will subside, Kim can get her old friend back, and everything will be fine and dandy. Seems likely.
