Pol sambol sandwiches are our favourite!
*Mixture: Keep an airtight bottle of this crunchy, spicy, salty, HEAVENLY munchable at your desk for those times you need to keep jaws moving in order to enable concentration. Drop and chew, drop and chew. You’ll blaze through that document in no time.
*Biscuits: Anything chocolatey has our hearts pounding—chocolate chip cookies (freshly made will have us bound to you for life) and chocolate digestives give you that quick and easy fix with your afternoon cuppa. But salty biscuits, like Krisco, also make for great mid-day snacks and fill up that tiny hole before lunch.
*Pol Sambol sandwiches: Crazy busy day? This soft-chew snack is tangy seduction (switch butter for margarine to up the health quotient) and easy to wallop as you go along. Chomp away as you power through those admin duties or catch up on an early morning phone call. And trust us, just a little portion goes a long way.
*Cowpea/Chickpea/Green gram: Keep a lunchbox of these boiled babies and sprinkle with dried coconut and chillie flakes. Take a spoonful every time you feel the munchies! Top tip: add some sautéed onions for extra flavour and crunch, though it mayyyy get soggy faster.
*Apples with cinnamon & peanut butter: slice ‘em up and sprinkle with cinnamon. Throw in a dollop of peanut butter, then dip ’n’ crunch—control before you swallow for optimal taste mash-up.
*Trail mix: Make your own combination of almonds, cashews, peanuts, pistachios, walnuts, dried blueberries, cranberries, and apricots, and feel free to chow down with no inhibitions. Need some secret sauce? Chocolate chips work WONDERS.
